The Quality of Life Fund has been set up by a group of parents, all of whom have children with the life threatening disease Cystic Fibrosis. The Fund has been created to help people with Cystic Fibrosis who live in the East Devon area to enhance their quality of life.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the UK ‘s most common life-threatening inherited disease.
Cystic Fibrosis affects over 8,000 people in the UK .
Over two million people in the UK carry the faulty gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis
The Quality of Life Fund is set up to fund raise and to help people with Cystic Fibrosis who live in East Devon by providing help by way of a Grant for a piece of medical equipment, physiotherapy equipment etc. which they feel would greatly enhance their quality of life.
